What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that helps individuals process traumatic experiences. It involves recalling the traumatic event while simultaneously engaging in a specific type of bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping. EMDR is evidence based for use with trauma and relies on our nervous system to begin the healing process.
EMDR has been shown to be beneficial for those with a history of trauma, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, performance anxiety, addictions, and more.

60 Minute EMDR Session
EMDR therapy is a powerful tool that can help you overcome specific traumas, address general worries, or enhance your performance. With 60-minute sessions that can be scheduled weekly, you'll have the time and space you need to work through your challenges and achieve your goals. Whether you have past traumas or are looking to improve your overall well-being EMDR therapy can help you move forward with confidence.

120 Minute EMDR Session
During a 2-hour EMDR intensive session, the therapist guides the patient through a series of eye movements, taps, or sounds while recalling the traumatic event. This process helps the patient reprocess the traumatic memory and reduce the emotional distress associated with it. The intensive session allows for a more focused and in-depth therapy, leading to faster progress and healing.

90 Minute EMDR Session
A 90-minute EMDR session is a longer therapy session that allows for more time to work through specific concerns and make therapeutic gains more quickly. During this session, the therapist and patient will have plenty of time to process and treatment plan, which can lead to more effective outcomes. This extended session time can be particularly helpful for patients who have complex or multiple targets to work through.

Custom Intensive
*Booking for 2025
A customized EMDR session length can vary depending on the individual's needs and goals. Patients may want to block out 2-3 days for intensive sessions rather than scheduling weekly therapy over a number of weeks or months. We can help you create a personalized treatment plan that fits your unique situation.
